The Last Time (Bad Disciple) is another reimagining of one of our songs by Phil Sibson (Bad Disciple). After his fantastic rework of This Rising Sun, which we published as a "b-side" of "Drown", he got his teeth into The Last Time. This is much more than just a remix or cover. As he did for This Rising Sun, he pretty much stripped everything away apart from the vocals, reworking and restructuring the whole piece as very much a synth based affair. Phil has a very unique ear and has worked on our material a few times. He hears certain essences and echoes within the song and brings them to the fore, resulting in something which is more a complement piece to the original, as opposed to a "different version".
